In locations from London, to New York, to Japan— Dover Street Market and Commes des Garcons stores are making space for the work of the late American artist Paul Thek. Thek’s work will be occupying CDG Aoyama, and Chelsea, as well as Dover Street Market London, Ginza, and New York.
His work acts against conventional techniques, and his pioneering, experimental perspective has made him an institution in American art. And for avant-garde fashion settings such as these, Thek’s installations are an easy and elegant fit.
The installations are at DSMNY through this Wednesday, and the other locations until the first week of December.
