The restoration of Shanghai’s Rong Zhai combines Prada’s extensive experience in historic preservation projects around the world with an abiding belief in the value of traditional hand-craftsmanship, and a dynamic collaboration between Western architects and Chinese scholars and artisans. The mansion is now open to the public and an exhibition showcasing some of Prada’s past architectural explorations is on display.
