Miu Miu just announced a new film in its ongoing video series, titled The Miu Miu Women’s Tales #18 “Brigitte”. This latest installment premiered as a part of the 76th Venice Film Festival Giornate degli Autori program. The result? A refreshingly candid, yet enchanting conversation between two women who have been at the forefront of the multimedia realm throughout the 21st century.
In this segment, filmmaker Lynne Ramsey uncovers Brigitte Lacombe’s “creative rhythms, her obsession with human details, and how her lens articulates a way of relating to the world.” Shot through Ramsey’s quintessentially vivid lens, the film fulfills the series higher purpose of sisterhood and sacrifice, while receiving an intimate look into the lives of women who reflect these sentiments into their very work.
